Icy-N-Spicy — Miramar

Built into the construction, not added after it.

Full technology build-out for the brand’s second, largest location — cabling, rack placement, and every system coordinated with the general contractor from the ground up, against a fixed opening date.

Project Overview

Engineered for opening day. Built for long-term operation.

Icy-N-Spicy’s Miramar location is the brand’s second and largest build-out to date, adding dedicated party rooms alongside the retail and service floor. Because it was new construction, every system had to be planned into the build rather than retrofitted.

Challenge

A fixed opening date doesn’t move for a technology build-out.

01

Built From the Ground Up

No existing infrastructure to work around — cabling and rack placement had to be planned into the build itself.

02

Added Complexity

Dedicated party rooms meant more coverage and more systems than the brand’s first location.

03

Multi-Trade Coordination

Every system had to be sequenced against the GC’s schedule and every other trade on site.

A second, larger location with added party rooms, built as new construction on a fixed opening timeline — requiring direct coordination with the GC and ownership throughout the build, not a retrofit into an existing space.

The challenge wasn’t any one system.
It was getting all of them ready by the same day.

Solution

Plan it into the build.
Not after it.

A full technology stack designed to the client’s scope and budget: structured cabling and rack infrastructure, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi coverage, Loxone-based automation and multi-zone audio, NFC intercom access, Hikvision security cameras, Samsung digital menu signage, and a VoIP phone system — opened on schedule with every system live at handoff.

The Approach

Design around the build.
Coordinate every trade.
Deliver ready for day one.

Every subsystem was designed as part of one unified infrastructure, reducing coordination between trades and ensuring every platform was commissioned before opening day.

01

Plan

Design cabling and rack infrastructure into the build itself.

02

Coordinate

Sequence every system against the GC’s construction schedule.

03

Install

Deploy network, automation, security and AV as one build.

04

Commission

Test and activate every platform before opening day.

05

Support

Maintain and support the system after handoff.

The goal wasn’t to finish on time.
It was to open ready.

The Result

Every system, planned as one.
Ready before the doors opened.

Result

A second location, built right the first time.

Every system — network, automation, audio, security, entry and signage — was designed, installed, and commissioned as one coordinated build. The location opened on schedule, with every platform live and tested before the first customer walked in.

The brand’s largest location to date now runs on infrastructure built to support it for years, not just for opening day.

01 — Readiness

Opened on schedule.

Every system was live and commissioned before opening day, not scrambled together after.

02 — Coordination

Built with the construction, not around it.

Cabling and infrastructure were planned into the build from day one, reducing rework and trade conflicts.

03 — Scale

A foundation for growth.

The brand’s largest location yet, running on infrastructure built to support it long-term.
