Structured Cabling

The wiring backbone every other system depends on — done right so you never have to open a wall twice.

Overview

Structured cabling is the physical network infrastructure — the cabling, patch panels, and termination points that everything else plugs into, from Wi-Fi to cameras to phones. It’s the least visible part of a project and the hardest to fix after drywall goes up, which is why it has to be planned correctly from the start.

“The least visible part of a project.
The hardest to fix after the fact.”

Built First, Not Last

The part you'll never see — done right the first time.

Every run is planned against the drawings, installed during the right phase of construction, and documented — so nothing behind the wall becomes a problem later.

Planned Against the Drawings

Cable paths are mapped to architectural drawings before construction starts, so every run lands exactly where it's needed.

Rough-In, Not Retrofit

Cabling goes in during construction whenever possible, or retrofit with minimal disruption when it can't.

Tested, Labeled, Documented

Every run is terminated, tested, labeled, and documented, so future work never starts from zero.

FAQ

Ideally during rough-in, before drywall goes up — retrofits are possible but cost more and take longer.
Yes — every run is labeled and mapped, so future work doesn’t start from zero.
Wi-Fi depends on wired access points; structured cabling is what makes reliable Wi-Fi possible in the first place.
